Shepherd’s Pie

Preparation

Tastiest when OVEN BAKED STRAIGHT FROM THE FREEZER.

Oven cook from frozen

  • 200°C Pre-heat oven,  Fan 180°C, Gas Mark 6, 35-40 mins
  • Place on a baking tray 
  • Cook in the middle of the oven for 25 minutes
  • Remove the film lid and cook for a further 15 minutes
  • Two or more trays may require longer cooking time

Alternatively, microwave 

  • Pierce the film lid
  • Microwave on FULL POWER for: 650W/B 8 mins, 750W/D 7 mins, 850W/E 6 mins
  • Peel back the film lid, stir rice then sauce, and replace film.
  • Microwave on FULL POWER for: 650W/B 2 mins, 750W/D 2mins, 850W/E 2 mins
  • Stand for 1 minute, stir then serve


Storage Instructions

Store in a freezer at -18°C or cooler.
