Preparation
- Soak the oats in the milk.
- Blanch the garden peas for 2 minutes.
Sauté the onion in butter until soft.- Mash the peas with a fork and mix with the onion, egg, lemon juice and cumin.
- Form the mixture into a burger shape.
- Fry or grill on a medium-low temperature, until browned on both sides.
- Serve in some crusty bread with your favourite burger fillings.
Serving tip
Perfect with homemade wedges and a mixed salad.
