How To Cook Potato Waffles On The Grill

Potato waffles are tastiest when grilled straight from the freezer. Here’s how to achieve a delightfully crispy waffle:

Step 1

First, pre-heat your grill. Get as many waffles as you desire then high grill for 6 to 10 minutes. Turn your waffles over occasionally to ensure both sides are cooked.

Step 2

Cook until your waffles are crisp, golden, and ready to eat! Birds Eye uses real potatoes that vary throughout the year, so the time taken to become crisp and golden may also vary.

How To Cook Potato Waffles In A Toaster

Step 1

First, place the potato waffles in the toaster, then toast on a medium/high setting.

Step 2

After the initial ‘pop up’, toast for a second cycle until the waffles are golden yellow in colour.

Step 3

If you’re happy about the level of toastiness of your waffle, switch off the toaster and leave them to stand for 1 minute. Remove with care while the toaster is still switched off.

CAUTION: Take care removing from the toaster as waffles and toaster will be very hot. Settings may vary between different makes of toaster, please refer to the manufacturer's instructions.
